Lis Sinclair Therapeutic Counsellor

I am a Person-Centred Therapeutic Counsellor. I am also able to offer some time-limited CBT.

I offer you a place of warmth and safety where you are not judged or criticised but can freely express your deepest thoughts and feelings. I offer you compassion, non-judgement and empathy in a confidential space.

The relationship between the counsellor and client is fundamental in the success of therapy so I will always speak with you before we begin to see if we feel we will work well together. It is important that you feel that you are with the right person for you. I provide a warm, safe, and reflective space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings in depth.

Through the process of therapy, a person finds that they can learn to become the person that they really want to be, their authentic selves. Through counselling, you can strip away past conditioning and look at relationships that do not serve you.

I am a member of the BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) and work within its ethical framework offering long and short-term face to face work, time-limited counselling, video, telephone and walk and talk therapy. A session lasts for 50 minutes and costs £40.00.

The content of all sessions is strictly confidential.

I have a breadth of experience both in life and through my previous career in Special Educational Needs. Although Cornwall is my home I have also lived and worked abroad as well as in other parts of the UK.
