I have a wide range of experience and knowledge in working with common mental health disorders such as Depression, Anxiety and Phobias in the NHS, corporate companies and private practice. I qualified as a CBT therapist 10 years ago and have worked as a therapist in NHS therapy services, in a community mental health team, in corporate mental health service and in my own private practice.

I am also a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Supervisor and I am also a supervisor and lecturer at Exeter University, which is a Russell group university, training students to become CBT therapists.

I do not have magic powers, magic answers or the solutions to things but I can use my knowledge, expertise and experience of CBT to help us explore and understand your difficulties to enable us to find a way forward together.

My services

Initial 15 minute telephone consultation.

This can be arranged at a mutually convenient time to briefly discuss your current concerns and CBT therapy to see whether I would be the best person to help you.  - Free –

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy treatment session.

Our CBT treatment sessions will last 50-60 minutes and I would recommend these be on a weekly basis to develop our working relationship and our understanding of your difficulties. - £80 –

 

Please be aware I do not provide a crisis service. If you need urgent assistance telephone the Samaritans Tel: 116 123, contact your GP surgery or attend the nearest A & E Department. I check emails, voice-mails and messages regularly between 9am-5pm Monday to Friday and will try to respond as soon as possible and ideally within 48 hours, however due to potential unforeseen circumstances this cannot be absolutely guaranteed.
