I’m Kiki, hailing from Sukhothai in northern Thailand. London became my home 15 years ago. I initally embarked on a career as a Thai masseuse in the city, which eventually led me to establish my own massage studio. I possess expertise in the art of traditional Thai massage therapy and proudly hold a VTCT level 3 certificate in Thai massage, with comprehensive training acquired in both Thailand and the United Kingdom.
Traditional Thai massage is a unique form of therapy that involves the use of hands, thumbs, elbows, forearms, and sometimes feet to apply pressure, stretching, and rocking movements. Thai massage is based on the concept of energy flow along predictable lines called “sens.” It also incorporates yoga-like positions and achieve participation, making it distinct from other massage techniques. Traditional Thai massage uses natural, blended massage oils in smooth flowing strokes to relieve tension in the back, shoulder, and neck.
Thai massage provides relief from stress, muscle tension, aches, and pains. It improves circulation, unblocks and balances energy flow, detoxifies internal organs, and enhances alignment. Additionally, it increases flexibility, range of motion, and athletic performance, leaving recipients mentally invigorated and physically energized while lowering anxiety and promoting relaxation
I offer various options for my clients, allowing them to choose which part of their body they wish to focus on, whether it’s a full-body massage, a head and shoulder massage, or a foot massage. However, it’s important for clients to inform me about any injuries or sensitive areas to ensure a safe and effective treatment.
For clients with specific medical conditions or health concerns, such as cancer, heart disease, high blood pressure, spinal conditions, diabetes, recent surgery, open wounds, or pregnancy, it’s crucial to consult a doctor before receiving a Thai massage. Individuals with bleeding disorders, deep vein thrombosis, burns, or thrombocytopenia should avoid it altogether to prioritise their safety.
