What is Physiotherapy?

Physiotherapy helps restore movement and function when someone is affected by injury, illness or disability.

Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy focuses on treating injuries and conditions affecting muscles, joints, nerves and soft tissue. This can range from sports injuries to work and posture related aches and pains.

I understand the importance of health and well being and also the impact that debilitating pain and an inability to participate in aspects of life can have. I incorporate a range of manual therapies, Acupuncture, Ultrasound and specific exercise prescriptions and apply them to individual’s health and lifestyle needs to provide holistic assessment and treatment

What do Physiotherapists do?

Physiotherapy is a science-based profession and takes a ‘whole person’ approach to health and wellbeing, which includes the patient’s general lifestyle.

Patient’s are encouraged to be involved in their own care, through education, awareness, empowerment and participation in their treatment.
You can benefit from physiotherapy at any time in your life.

Physiotherapy helps with conditions such as back pain or sudden injury. It can also help manage long-term medical condition such as arthritis and in preparing for childbirth or a sporting event..
